Faux Dichroic
I made this pendant with the faux dichroic glass technique. It was so much fun. I have done actual fused dichroic glass and it's beautiful but with this I could eliminate cutting glass, grinding it and using the hot kiln! Polymer clay is so amazing!!! I used a stamp for the design and Judikins fluxe enameling resin. I think I would have got a more domed effect using Ultra dome. I used a cord and made it an adjustable necklace. If you'd like to learn about this technique check it out here faux dichroic glass

Thanks for the comment on my blog about the crosses. I have a flexible mold that I used on them with some scrap clay. I put Magic Glos on them whick I like better than Ultra Dome. I was told Ultra Dome yellows after 6 months but I don't know that from my own use. A lady that does bottle caps told me that and she makes hundreds. She uses Enviro Tex Lite which is a two part UV Resin. I'm not big on mixing stuff. I haven't seen this mold in quite a while but if I see another one some where on the web, I'll let you know. I can't remember where I got it.
